Earlier this week, our Year 10 employees took a break from their filmmaking workshops, and started fulfilling the criteria for their Bronze Arts Award, including the selection of an Arts Hero.
We were delighted
that Shanay, a participant in La Cinémathèque Française’s ‘Le Cinéma, cent ans
de jeunesse’ film education programme, chose the Lumière Brothers as her Arts Hero(es).
Before Christmas, our Arts Award candidates will deliver a technical skills tutorial. They will also visit BFI Southbank to watch and review a film. We look forward to sharing more of their work before the Christmas holiday.
